Allshapes Bonsai

Category: Nurseries Also called: Allshapes Bonsai Nursery; allshapesbonsai.com; Allshapes Bonsai (Ringoes, NJ) Last checked: 2026-10-14

What it is

Allshapes Bonsai is a full-service bonsai nursery in Ringoes, New Jersey with its own online store at shop.allshapesbonsai.com. The home page says, “We are a full-service bonsai nursery located in Ringoes, NJ,” and gives 230 Everitt Road, Ringoes, NJ 08551, phone 908-788-1938 and [email protected]. The Nursery page says owners Dave and Diane Hall ran a plant and tree business in 1981, became interested in bonsai, and moved over time to growing only bonsai. It is not a club and not a class desk.

Who it’s for

New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York-area growers who want to walk greenhouse benches and buy in person, and online buyers who want finished bonsai, pre-bonsai, pots, tools, soil and wire from one store. The Nursery page says, “We carry just about everything related to bonsai.”

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party grower and retail nursery with a real cart. Product pages on its own Shopify store carry dollar prices and Add to cart, and the site publishes an address, phone, email and year-round hours. It is not a directory card, not Amazon and not supplies-only.

Official shop sample (product page, checked 2026-10-14): Japanese Juniper Bonsai, $295.00, “Japanese Juniper (J. procumbens) trained and wired in a semi-cascade style. Age 15 apx,” in a 9 × 7.5 inch ceramic pot, with tree care instructions. The page has an Add to cart button.
More prices (store product data, 2026-10-14): Japanese Juniper Bonsai (J. procumbens nana) $700; Jaboticaba (Brazilian grape tree) in a 6-inch pot $62; plus pots from about $9, tools and lava soil.
Store size (store product data): 250 products listed, about 80 in stock on the check date.
Facilities (Nursery page): “over 6000 square feet of greenhouses filled with hundreds of bonsai in the winter,” plus outdoor display benches in the growing season. The nursery also offers classes, bonsai for events such as weddings, tree boarding while owners are away, and it buys bonsai-related items and collections.
Online stock is partial: the home page says, “Currently there are far more plants available at the nursery than you’ll see online.”

Prices are what the pages showed on the check date. They change.

Notes

Category is Nurseries: a first-party grower with priced trees in its own cart.
Shipping terms not confirmed: the store’s refund-policy page loads but is blank, and no shipping-policy page was found (/policies/shipping-policy returns 404). Ask the nursery before ordering live trees by mail.
Earlier reject reopened: past ship notes rejected Allshapes because the site returned 202 (bot check). On 2026-10-14 every cited URL returned 200 to both a Chrome HEAD and a Chrome GET. Recheck before shipping.
The home page still shows a stale banner about a vacation closure from 10/2/25 to 10/8/25 (2025). It is hidden in the page markup and does not affect 2026.
Classes: the store has a Bonsai Classes collection, but it listed no class products on the check date.
Geography: first New Jersey listing on the plaza. Not in VA, AL, IL, WA, ID or OH.
Listing image: the nursery’s own logo (Allshapes_Bonsai_Logo.png, the store’s og:image), 417×190, saved as allshapes-bonsai.png.
Not affiliated with Bonsai Plaza. No purchase, contact or form submission was made.
