L&J Nursery

What it is

L&J Nursery (also styled LJ Nursery / L&J Plant Nursery) is a first-party Florida specialty bonsai and live-plant nursery rooted in Venice (est. 2008) and Orlando, with an official Shopify shop at ljplants.com. Official About: father-and-son growers shipping Florida-grown bonsai, tropical houseplants, and plant gifts; owner Jonathan Rindner; bonsai crown-jewel species such as Juniper, Ficus, Fukien Tea, Chinese Elm, Jade, and Barbados Cherry; plus the nursery’s Bonsai & Cheers beginner public workshop series at breweries and community venues. The official shop prints on-page dollar prices for finished mame / ceramic-pot trees, pre-bonsai starters, and DIY bonsai kits. It is not a membership club and not a museum class series.

Who it’s for

USA shoppers (home FAQ: ships across 49 states; product pages note special handling / agricultural restrictions when they apply) who want first-party Florida-grown starter and finished bonsai with printed SKU prices; beginners choosing Ficus / Juniper / Jade / Fukien Tea; and Central Florida guests watching Bonsai & Cheers public workshop listings. Optional brewery workshops do not move this card into Learning.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party specialty nursery with a printed Ocoee, FL street address on the Privacy Policy, an official Shopify bonsai collection with on-page dollar prices, and About / home FAQ context — not a scraped directory card and not an Amazon storefront. FAQ

Q: Where is L&J Nursery, and do they ship live trees?
A: Privacy Policy (checked 2026-09-24) prints LJ Nursery, 3372 Mccormick Woods Drive, Ocoee FL 34761. Home FAQ: ships Florida-grown bonsai across 49 states; confirm agricultural restrictions and the live cart shipping widget on each SKU.

Q: What shop prices were printed on official pages today?
A: Samples checked 2026-09-24 on the bonsai-trees collection / products.json include pre-bonsai from about $15.00–$50.00; mame and finished trees commonly about $30.00–$65.00; larger ceramic samples $125.00–$135.00; DIY kits often $25.00–$40.00. Confirm the live SKU; prices and stock change.

Q: Do Bonsai & Cheers workshops make this a Learning listing?
A: No. Bonsai Plaza category lock: a nursery’s ticketed brewery / public workshops do not move the card into Learning. Learning needs a curriculum/schedule-first page as the primary identity (see Longwood Gardens Advanced Bonsai Workshop or Descanso Gardens Rooted Bonsai Workshops). L&J Nursery remains Nurseries.
